The most effective government teachers are those who consistently strive to improve instruction for their students. The Civics Institute’s high school Michigan state and local government lesson plans are high quality and provide an excellent resource for teachers.

The Civics Institute has produced an informational video to assist teachers in utilizing these Michigan state and local government lesson plans.

The video will be distributed in the 2004-2005 school year to teachers throughout Michigan by city managers and school district superintendents.

The funding for this project has been granted by Grand Valley Metro Council and Michigan Local Government Managers Association.
